Lagos Solar for Schools Project:
In conjunction with Solar Nigeria, DFID (UK aid) and Lagos State Electricity Board:

Lagos Solar is Nigeria’s largest distributed social solar project to date. It supplies electricity to 172 secondary schools and 11 primary health centres (PHCs) in rural, riverine, and peri-urban areas of Lagos State, where the need for reliable off-grid power is the greatest.

Each school or clinic is equipped with one or several systems of 5kW to 25kW capacity providing almost 5MW of solar power. The systems are configured to meet all of the facility’s key needs.
